A journalist with TVC has recounted how he was battered by a police officer in Ogun state for refusing to bribe him.
According to the journalist known as Akiode Temitope, he said after he and his friends had been stopped by the officer and cleared, the officer identified simply as Akin refused to let them go without being settled and even threatened to detain them. He refused telling the officer that he is a journalist, but that did not seem to bother Officer AKin, who proceeded to give him the beating of his life.
