Amosun escapes death as CBN van collides with his convoy

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State escaped death on Thursday evening when a bullion van, belonging to the Central Bank of Nigeria, rammed into his convoy

The accident was said to have taken place at Ibafo axis on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.



It was gathered that the CBN bullion van attempted to overtake the governor’s convoy, which was on its way to Lagos, but in the process collided with one of the vehicles.

The situation was said to have left the governor and his entourage in utter shock.
