Venus Williams leaves Wimbledon 2017 press conference in tears after 'car crash' questions

 Venus Williams broke down in tears before walking out of an emotional press conference following her first round Wimbledon win over Elise Mertens.

Williams was speaking publicly for the first time since she discovered she was being sued by the family of a Florida man after a car crash police say she caused.
She said

 "There are no words to describe how devastating...I'm completely speechless."

Williams then left the press conference as she struggled to speak through the tears before eventually returning to take more questions.
